Why this exists
Conviction in Bitcoin is built through education and understanding.
Everyone tells you that the network is safe. I wanted to hand you the weapons to attack the network itself on real, live data. So you could see for yourself how the network stays secure.
This is not a trading tool and it makes no claims about price.
The pledge
- Every number traces to a named source, listed below with its date.
- Estimates are labelled as such.
- I don't shy away from hard questions, quantum gets its own chapter, and exchanges getting hacked is treated as a real distinction.
- Where Bitcoin has genuinely faltered, the 2010 and 2013 outages, we mark it on the wall, not hide it.

Small print
- No financial advice. Nothing here is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything.
- No price predictions. This site is about how the network works, never about what a coin is worth.
- No accounts, no tracking, no analytics. Nothing you do here is recorded on any server. Your progress (the FAILED stamps, your report card) lives only in your own browser.
- Everything runs in your browser. "Attacks" are simulations — no real coins, keys, nodes or blocks are ever touched.
